weird...crazy...world

My name is Jacqueline - I'm a socially moderate, religiously conservative, and politically liberal girl just loving life right now! I'm a 24 year old Master's of Media Studies student at the University of Texas, but an Oklahoma alumni and die-hard Sooner fan! I'm currently writing my thesis - in a nutshell my research is about girls' online lives, particularly informal learning environments. I'm also an English & Language Arts teacher for a local Home School Co-op. When I'm not researching for my thesis or writing lesson plans - I'm usually watching college football! Oh yea, and I'm training to run a half marathon with Teams in Training this winter, I'm pumped!

What could be so wonderful?

The half light wakes you up the morning after
Fall down with me
And roll around.
-Howie Day

Went out last night and had too much fun when I have so much school work I should've been doing, dang it! I called Brandon to come pick Hilary and me up from Bible Study and he was with a bunch of people at the bowling alley. So I end up going there, then we go to The Vista to play Bingo and then end up at O'Connell's with a bucket of beer and shots.

Dang the nice weather and fun and the ever-present temptation to be having fun rather than studying.

Yea, and today is Wednesday, which means Happy Hour at the Library with the spring break group. But after that, I'm locking myself up and doing homework and studying for my Stats II exam I have tomorrow.

Come on summer, hurry up! Actually come on June, cuz 3 days after school gets out I start intersession, but then I'm done for three months, yay!
